How would you describe your business?
We are a part butcher shop, part bakery. We specialize in artisans pastries featuring locally grown and harvest fruits and vegetables. Our whole animal butcher program works with local farms to increase accessibility and sustainability of our food systems here in Hawaii.

How’d you get started and what sparked the idea for your business?
We wanted to combine the love of our craft, the love for our home, and our love for each other.

What do you wish you had known before you started your business?
We wish we knew the challenges of moving from partners in life to business partners.

What are you most proud of about your business?
We pride ourselves in sourcing as many local products as possible, supporting our local farmers and ranchers. We can proudly say that every product we put out features a local farm. We also have personal relationships with all of our food producers and have constant conversations on how to make local food more accessible to people.

What do you love most about being a food entrepreneur? 
We love that we are able to feed people good local food and that they are also able to feed their families.

What’s one piece of advice you have for other food entrepreneurs?
Don't try to grow too big too fast as to not compromise your product. Be honest and stick to your values.

What makes your business unique/special?
We are a whole animal butcher shop and bakery that sources local ingredients.

What’s your best seller at the moment?
Beef Bone Broth and the rotating seasonal pastry of week

What's next for you and business?
We plan to open a brick and mortar location soon that will replicate old Hawaii general stores, with a butcher shop, bakery, and local produce.
