Menu

Ancient Greek ouzo spiked oysters

This recipe adopts the Ancient Greek Philosophy of finding harmony between salt, sweet and sour. It features Garos (fish sauce) as was used in Ancient Greece.

Mastic-Infused Shrimp in Kataifi Pastry

Mastiha from Chios has long been known by Ancient Greeks to have healing and therapeutic properties. It was often paired with seafood in Ancient Greece.

Maroulosalata

This Lettuce, Scallions, Dill, Lemon Vinaigrette salad showcases a Greek Salad found in many renowned Greek Restaurants. Greece has hundreds of Greek salads showcasing each islands and regions produce.

Santorinian Sweet Tomato Filo Pies with Arugula salad

The tradition of pie making began in Ancient Greece. Layers of dough were packed with salty cheese and honey. Eggs were sometimes added. The art of making pies is an integral part of Greece’s culinary tradition. Every region and island in Greece makes its own pie, resulting in hundreds of different varieties. Santorini makes them with Tomatoes.

“Myma” style ancient Greek lamb with baked potatoes

This is my interpretation of an Ancient Greek recipe created by Epaenetus. “Myma” is the Ancient Greek word for a meat stew. It adopts the Ancient Greek philosophy of finding a balance between sweet, salt and sour.

Honeyed Loukoumades (Ancient Greek doughnuts) with Cinnamon and Macadamia Nuts

Loukoumades is the first documented doughnut in the world with close associations to the ancient Greek Olympic Games.

Price includes 2 glasses of wine or beer.
